Our Sources

Our items are sourced from a wide variety of established outlets who specialise in quality goods primarily made by hand. Whilst we cannot claim to have direct links with the workers who have produced these wonderful items, the brands who have provided them do have very close ties with the artisans themselves and follow stringent ethical practices. These suppliers exist to benefit their local communities in numerous ways. Several have a mission to help women in particular, to ensure fair pay, to sure up economic stability in the communities of the artists who produce them and maintain good working conditions. Another intention of theirs is to preserve tradtions of production for future generations whie maintaining envornmental sustainability. In a world that is filled with mass production, a hand-crafted item is a splendid thing.

We simply import these items to be appreciated together.  The items we choose are sometimes opulant, sometimes simple but always elegant. Below are links to some of the brands who are our key suppliers, so you can read about their stories and practices that make up their products.
